| 工作职责 | Provide off the shelf test solutions to meet Control Techniques Global test requirements, By Development of a range of test equipment, evaluation and approval of other manufactures test equipment. This role will require the job holder to design or specify test equipment (software and / or hardware) to meet the requirements defined in the project brief supplied by Project Engineer or Test Development Manager. The projects will require either off the shelf test or turnkey solutions to meet the requirements of the User Requirement Specification. Following approved CT Test design principles. Projects will be defined in the form of a User Requirements Specification (URS). The URS process will describe the business opportunity, project description, benefits, potential risks and obstacles, budget and timescales, resources and most importantly project deliverables. This role requires maximum flexibility in terms of working hours and periodic international travel. In most cases the projects will be identified and agreed in advance at the point of commencement performance measures will be agreed. Informal weekly progress reports to Test Development Manager Key aspects to every project will be: - Provide designs that meet appropriate legal requirements for safety Oversee the building of test equipment and ensure that the equipment meets all design requirements Provide full documentation and procedures for users and global support engineering Identify and evaluate test equipment | ||
| 职位要求 | 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the design of electronic test equipment. Experience of design/debug of Variable Speed Drives (or Inverters) or Test equipment that tests drives would be a distinct advantage. Preferable experience with the following software packages, • Visual Basic • VB Net • TestStand/LabVIEW • Microsoft Suite • MS Project /Pro Chain • AutoCAD Electrical This is not essential as training will be provided whenever necessary A good working knowledge of worldwide standards (i.e. IEE, EN, CE & UL, etc) and localised regulations affecting the use of test equipment required. Ability to document all design work to an industry recognised standard allowing replication & repair globally Knowledge of critical chain project planning & theory of constraints preferable. Education desired: Appropriate Electrical or Electronic Degree. | ||
