| 工作职责 | Provide bespoke test solutions to meet Control Techniques Global test requirements, By Development of a range of test equipment mechanical solutions. This role will require the job holder to design test equipment (Hardware) to meet the requirements defined in the project brief in the form of a User Requirements Specification (URS) supplied by Control Techniques Global Team. By Development of a range of test equipment, evaluation and the approval of other manufactures test equipment. This role requires maximum flexibility in terms of working hours and periodic international travel. Projects will be allocated by the Project Engineer based on workload and business requirements. Projects defined through the URS process will describe the business opportunity, project description, benefits, potential risks and obstacles, budget and timescales, resources and most importantly project deliverables In most cases the projects will be identified and agreed in advance at the point of commencement performance measures will be agreed. Informal weekly progress reports to Test Development Manager Key aspects to every project will be: - Provide designs that meet appropriate legal requirements for safety Oversee the building of test equipment and ensure that the equipment meets all design requirements Provide full documentation and maintenance procedures for users and global support engineering Identify and evaluate test equipment | ||
| 职位要求 | Specialist experience in variable speed drives would be a distinct advantage but not essential. Significant experience in Sheet Metal Work fabrication, design and construction a distinct advantage but not essential Significant knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor or similar CAD package a distinct advantage but not essential Experience in the design of electronic test equipment and or testing of variable speed drives an advantage. Ability to document all design work to an industry recognised standard allowing replication & repair globally is essential Knowledge of critical chain project planning & theory of constraints preferable. Education desired: Appropriate Mechanical Engineering Degree with 3 to 5 years experience | ||
